Terms of Use
1. What HATECAP is. HATECAP (hatecap.com) is a parody entertainment website. Rankings express the collected, subjective opinions of visitors ("dislikes" and paid "trashes"). They are not factual claims, reviews, ratings of quality, or statements about any company's conduct, products, finances, or legality. Stock figures shown are approximate, delayed, and provided by third parties for context only.
2. Eligibility. You must be 18 or older to make purchases, and 13 or older to use the site.
3. Free votes. One free dislike per visitor per day, plus one bonus vote unlocked by sharing, capped and enforced by device and network signals. Automated, scripted, or bulk voting is prohibited; we may discard votes and block devices without notice.
4. Paid effects ("PAY TO TRASH"). A purchase buys a decorative, digital on-site effect: a timed slot in the TRASH ZONE featuring a randomly drawn visual effect, plus credit on the "HATED BY MONEY" podium. The effect is drawn at random from a published pool; rarity is not guaranteed. A purchase confers no goods, ownership, investment, return, or influence over any real company. Delivery begins immediately upon payment confirmation, and by completing checkout you consent to immediate performance; where consumer law gives a withdrawal right for digital content, that right ends once performance has begun with your consent.
5. Names and logos. Company names and logos are used for identification and parody only (nominative use). No endorsement or affiliation is implied. Rights holders who believe their rights are infringed may contact us via the site; we review and respond to good-faith requests promptly.
6. Acceptable use. Do not use the site to target individuals, to harass, or for any unlawful purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt the service or circumvent vote or payment controls.
7. Liability. The site is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the site or any purchase is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes will be resolved first by informal contact via the site; if unresolved, in the state or federal courts located in California.
9. Changes. We may update these terms; continued use after changes means acceptance.
